Meta URL Tagging

Meta does not offer account level tagging, but you can edit your ads in bulk to update the template. In Facebook the "template" is called "URL Parameters"
Example Atrilyx URL Parameters:

CODE
_aiid=00000&teng={{site_source_name}}&keng={{placement}}&ieng={{adset.id}}&cpieng={{campaign.id}}&cieng={{ad.id}}&utm_source={{site_source_name}}&utm_medium=soc&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}

you can use the same template in every single Facebook ad you run, including lead ads. only change is the ai program id (_aiid) added to the template that will be provided by the Atrilyx team.

 NOTE facebook URL parameters do not start with a ? Or &, they just start with the first value, and then the rest are delineated with an &

Clickthrough Tracking

Clickthroughs need to be added in the Website URL box (URL does not need to be encoded) as facebook does not support templates. so that facebook does not remove our _aiid or aitrk values, a dummy ?fb is added to the end of the URLs

this means that for certain ad types like lead forms or "experiences" we will not be able to use a clickthrough.
this is OK as long as we have the URL parameters set at the ad level

example for an ad running to https://www.atrilyx.com:

Website URL:

CODE
https://example.aiproxies.com/?rdr=https://www.atrilyx.com/?fb

This clickthrough can be pre-pended in bulk to your ads using the ad editor and using a find/replace.
